The Titanic was a British passenger ship that sank in the North Atlantic in the early morning April 15, 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from
Southampton, UK, to New York City, USA. The accident resulted in the 1495 passengers and crew personnel were killed, making it one of the deadliest commercial
peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. Titanic was the largest and most luxurious ship when it was commissioned. She was the second out of three vessels belonging to Olympic class
ocean liners that drivdes out of the White Star Line, and the ships built in the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast with Thomas Andrews who was head desiger and constructed vessels.

Her captain was the famous Edward J. Smith, who steered the ship with some of the richest people in the world as well as hundreds of passengers emigrants from
Britain and Ireland, Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe who sought a new life in North America. A high efficient radio telegraph was available to send passengers
letter and for vessel operational use. Although the Titanic had advanced security features such as watertight compartments and fjärstyrda watertight doors, there was unfortunately not
enough lifeboats to accommodate all passengers on board due to outdated maritime safety regulations. There was only room for 1178 passengers in the lifeboats with it was
just over half the number of board and drykt a third of its total capacity at the 3547th
